Appetite for Distraction is a few hours earlier today and Lana is away "on assignment." But given that I don't want to ever disappoint anyone I decided to put our two Friday themes into one show, they being Fresh tunes and Food.

How will you do this Lisa?

So glad you asked. If there's one thing I love about food and music it's how well they go together. If you wonder what I am talking about, think about the last time you dined out and there was no music in the background. Sure you may eat in complete silence at home, but not if you were having a dinner party or even just a few guests.

Just as wine works for certain dishes, so too does a good song and meal. On today's show I'll be asking for your musical pairings. I'll be playing all the new sonngs coming to the Radio 3 playlist, and you can tell me what food you think would go well. Or feel free to pair up any of our songs and your favourite dish.

I don't know how Lana does this, I'm getting hungry just typing.
